The Klaatu Nebula is a nebula formed from an ancient supernova, and the destruction of Thermia.
History[]
Ancient interstellar gas cloud form by a supernova explosion, to which was added billions of tons of dust and debris from the destruction of Thermia. Millions of years later the unique thermal signature is the result of the hyperionic pulse charges used to destroy the planet, and is the reason the entire region is considered uninhabitable. The only known life-form remaining in the region is a radiation resistant virus called the Ghort.
