"Even though we had never before met, I always considered you as a father to me" -Quellek's dying words
Quellek is Dr. Lazarus's assistant. Quellek idolizes Dr.Lazarus and thinks of him as a father figure and as a result he has devoted most of his life to the study of Mak'Tar culture, history and possibly Dr.Lazarus's work in medicine and science. He is shot and killed by one of Sarris' crew members after he and Dr.Lazarus rescued the Thermians from suffocating. Sir Alexander Dane, who plays Lazarus, is greatly affected by Quellek's death.
